I'm going through it. Confessed a crush to a friend and now I'm left on read. Been catastrophizing about how she won't want to see me or talk to me anymore because of this. I'm so afraid that I just broke a good friendship. It sucks.
The worst feeling is being vulnerable with someone and sharing my emotions with them but feeling like a fool afterwards because I feel I shouldn't have said anything.

What is your center?

No matter what it is, everything in our universe is held together by a center of mass. For stars it's their plasma core, for the Earth it's a core of molten iron. For atoms it's the nucleus.

What are our lives held together by? The Bible says Christ holds all things together.

3 years, 1 month and 3 days of sobriety from alcohol. I am so glad to have left behind the old me. God is good. Life didn't get easier just because I got sober. In fact, it got harder for a bit. But I learned one day at a time to just accept life as it is. Life is wonderful when you are actually aware of what's happening around you. Remember that sobriety comes in stages. First we get rid of the habit. Then we slowly learn to find the cause behind it and heal from the traumas and scars of the past. Be kind to yourself in learning the way that you need to heal. Everyone's journey is different. Don't compare your recovery to someone else's. You're where you need to be.
