I enjoy taking on walking ultra challenges, most sports, #ITFC, 70s & 80s music, but mainly spend my weekends watching & blogging about lower tier #NonLeague & #womensfootball.

Received this through the post today. Look forward to reading pieces on the price of merchandise, the new football regulator, player spotlights, & much more, all penned by #nonleague fans.
Head to the @tttonlf.bsky.social site here

I once drafted up a t-shirt from the film celebrating Russell Osman's immortal line and ended up sending him and a few of his friends freebies. Here's Russ wearing his... 🙂

Thoroughly enjoyed reading Shades of Green by @outsidewrite.bsky.social.
A fascinating book full of historical facts, stats and an essential read for any #groundhoppers looking to journey to the Emerald Isles. Excellently researched and well worth adding to any football #book collection.

Here's a few pics from last weekend, taken before everything went horribly wrong! #Eastbourne #southcoast

Back in Eastbourne so here's the obligatory Belgian beer photo. 🙂 #Kwak #Beer

These little beauties arrived in the post today. Something to keep me occupied during these summer football free weekends. Thanks @tttonlf.bsky.social 👍

Crikey, just think how many #charities & #NonLeague clubs you could help out with that!

Here's a few pics from last night #Lionesses #Wembley #womensfootball

My 24/25 season ended on a high at Wembley last night watching a fantastic display from the Lionesses. This season is the first time I've seen more women's games than men's, not a bad total considering I only go to weekend games & use public transport! Here's a round up. 👇 #NonLeague #womensfootball

First long walk for a while, went to #Windsor, started on the Long Walk, on to Virginia Water, back across to Runnymede & finally on the Thames Path back to Windsor. Lovely day, my white trainers will never be the same again & my head is lobster red! Won't be doing football this weekend now! 🥵🌞😄

My journey into a weekend of #BelgianBeers comes to an end with a very poorly poured Tripel Karmeliet at 8.4%. Until my next visit to Eastbourne, it's goodnight from me... 🙂

Next up it's another throw back to my time in the Netherlands. It's a La Chouffe Blond (which doesn't look very blond to me!) coming in at 8% #BelgianBeers #TheBelgianCafe #LaChouffe #Beer

After another afternoon at the football (4 games in 3 days) it's back into #BelgianBeer corner. First up tonight is the original Duvel strong blond at 8.4%. #Beer #BelgianBeers #TheBelgianCafe #Duvel

Next up in #BelgianBeer corner, it's one brewed here in the cafe. This is the Belgian Tripel by the Beer Me brewery at 9% and most lovely it is too!

Back to the important stuff, I'm back in the Belgian Cafe after a long day in the sun visiting two football matches. Tonight's starter for ten is this little 8.5% tripel...

Second beer in the Belgian Cafe was a Duvel 6.66% blond beer. Very fruity but a nice tipple all the same. Food was extremely good there as well, a top place to visit! 👍

First time having one of these little beauties since I left Holland back in 2011. Proper glass too which has turned back the clock! Now I've just got to remember how to beat the bubble and not get it all over myself! #Beer #BelgianBeers #Kwak

Full display of the colours of #spring on my journey to the football today. 🙂

Watching this for the first time in ages. Only the first series with the original Matthew mind 🙂

Today I'm off to the huge game at the top of Combined Counties South Division for Redhill v Jersey Bulls. See below for the current standings.
The return fixture at Jersey Bulls is next weekend so a pivotal couple of games. Plus if both of these are drawn then AFC Whyteleafe could swoop!

Arrived way too early for the football today and when you're in Windsor, it's sunny and you have the Crown Estate just around the corner, it'd be rude not to go for a wander. Had to dodge several cyclists but still pleasant enough!

After chatting with @dagenhaminvince.bsky.social about my plans to visit Ireland next season & hopefully take in a few games while there, I've just bought the book he recommended, @cmrlee.bsky.social's Shades of Green. Looking forward to getting started on this one. 👍

Great day out. First off met & chatted with @dagenhaminvince.bsky.social at the fascinating #womensfootball exhibition at Valence House. Also good to meet Max, the West Ham historian. Then walked the 4 miles to Redbridge for their game with Concord Rangers. Trains were perfect on way back too!

Great day out at Leatherhead today and met so many wonderful people there today. The least said about the actual game itself the better, it was dreadful. #nonleague
