I’d love to see @maddow.msnbc.com and @lawrenceodoonnelll.bsky.social and others refer to Saturday’s upcoming parade as “totalitarian kitsch” (per Kundera’s Unbearable Lightness of Being), which it is. Why dignify it rather than mock it, which it more fully deserves?
