In Providence, Rhode Island, a friend of mine (who was dressed as George Washington) was almost struck by a vehicle that aimed at her and her young son and sped up toward them. She was really rattled.

There will be more protests. We can’t lose our momentum. I plan on attending every protest I can. You don’t have to go to Washington DC—there are protests all over Rhode Island and every other state. It is such a morale boost to be among so many like-minded, fired up people. It is truly energizing.
