In a dark room somewhere, Pam Bondi is busy scrubbing records by the light of her phone.

Everything done in the dark will eventually be brought to light. Luke 8:17 etc etc

Gee, look. Guess Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Churchill, MacArthur, Nimitz, Halsey, Patton, Bradley, Marshall, all our Dads, Grandpas, Great Grandpas et al are all now considered terrorists.

We live in the stupidest timeline.

The pitfalls of working from home and having a desk that faces your garden: I watched a Cardinal systematically pick off the majority of my black swallowtail caterpillars today and by the time I got out there to yell at it, it was too late.

The circle of life

Good song. Sucks in practice.

I contend both the jump to hyperspace in Star Wars and the melting Nazi face in the first Indiana Jones
stand the test of time, special effects-wise.

Hopefully there is not a lifetime maximum on watching random Ted Lasso episodes just to make the world seem to suck less. I love this show so much.

He's probably secretly getting off on the fact his misguided, capricious whims screwed the whole world. His own special little kink. Too bad those 3 equal branches of government our Founding Fathers were wise enough to create don't work when Congress is full of sycophants who just kiss his ass

In 1957 Senator Strom Thurmond created a record filibuster, railing against the Civil Rights Act of that year. For 24 hours and 18 minutes he spewed his segregationist and racist views.

How deliciously poetic that Senator Cory Booker took that record.

Fifteen years ago today I had big time cancer but didn't know it yet. I'd had my first/second/third mammogram that afternoon. And my first mri. And my first ultrasound.

I thought all that stuff was normal.

But it wasn't. But I'm still here. Huzzah

Tonight's 'The World Is Bleak' activity is making dark chocolate cherry sourdough. Regular sourdough mixed with some cocoa powder, coffee in place of some of the liquid, dark ghiradelli chips & tart dried cherries. Question is, should I add a nut to the bread? If so, which? Pistachio? Almond?
