restlessness clings to the soul like moon dust masking expectations a reason that can’t be imprisoned illusions often find a way out let’s peel off the pretensions so that the vulnerability survives behind a glamorous costume steered by the stars all this time has passed and yet not a day goes by without recalling the same birds the same sky the same reason to feel alive

standing on a boat as it’s passing through this point drifting clear of the apparent obstacles drifting in this moment of time the waves reciting the future as they pass a future reflecting infinite stars as the moon stops by to glance at the reflection pensive or playful to go through the motions the pull is inevitable, insurmountable and yet, the calmness ebb and flows tranquility spreads across eclipsing and unwinding infinite paths leading to a destination unknown

A poem I wrote: If this night passes like there was no day after you will find me running around in circles saving the cost of light as I try to erase the fold-marks from my oldest memories. Naked fluttering of light at dawn dimmed by a handful of shadows faith that hardens in adversity to not look back, to seek an adventure somewhere else trying to forget trying to remember it. An immense ocean, this ambitious life keeping me at a distance from my expectations.

I close my eyes to be closer to you, who is irreplaceable and so there is hope for me— a place to stay as I go from place to place. What will I find and what did I already know? No one knows me as thoroughly as you do, and still you’re not there where we were supposed to meet. But I can take solace knowing that you’re in my conversations, my stillness and in my dreams.

If I could see you again in a few years time what will you tell me and what will they tell you these sore eyes of mine I would try to conjure up something but they still won’t be able to lie will we shake hands and go our separate ways or will we talk for an hour just standing somewhere like the old days you picking up on my gestures and I just reacting to my feelings I would still have for you even after all these days

and through the clouds, I fall, branches of amorphous thoughts taking shape, forming and deforming through space, dissolving the outstretched hands of time, spinning in circles, cones, and cuboids, shapeless, dreamless, and unbalanced lines, too late, too wayward, these unending roads, restless to merge back with reality again.
