Been making good progress on #TathagathaApp lately. I diverted time to setting up a Theme backend for use with Settings to be more flexible moving forward. Basic functionality is moving forward & then I can start prettying things up. Very rewarding to see your vision take shape. #swiftlang

#100DaysOfSwiftUI

Done! I'm super excited to have dedicated myself to this course, and stuck it out. I learned an absolutely incredible amount in such a short time, it's hard to believe it's been less than 3 months. Huge thanks to @twostraws.bsky.social for such an amazing course. Next step...

Units 77 & 78 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI, photo and map saver for people's names is done. Lot of kitbashing of code here, begs further study down the road, but I'm tired and want to move on for now.

It's pretty awesome, remembering the first time I opened XCode, 2 months ago to the day. I didn't know jack squat, despite my Python prowess I didn't understand even the boilerplate template a fresh xcode project starts with. Now, I can write a ton & read even more. Thanks @twostraws.bsky.social

Unit 62 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI done! Thank the Swift gods for an easy palette washer after dealing with SwiftData and Codable.

I'm currently riding a high of comprehension level-up, feels nice after some stretch of brain overload.

Day 61 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI done. Honestly... wtf. It should not take this ridiculously complex language to use Codable with SwiftData. Surprise, it also will not work in the preview, only the simulator. #FistShake

All winging aside, I learned a LOT working through this challenge.

@twostraws.bsky.social know's what he's doing. I can't just leave that challenge. Ended up being a pretty straightforward thing. We'll see about all the #SwiftData nonsense tomorrow.

Units 50/51 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI done! Starting to really see the amazing value of Bindings and computed properties. I think this is the first time I did something where I know it would've taken a load more Python code to execute the same thing. Loving it.

Really struggling to decide whether it's worth finishing Habit Tracker or just plow ahead. But writing this helps because I know the answer. #swift #100DaysOfSwiftUI #discipline

A really great day pursuing #100DaysOfSwiftUI. I stared in on the "Habit Tracker" app, and got totally bogged down in just the beginning splash and UI. But through doing this, I'm learning a TON.

Here's something ridiculously rough but I'm excited at my progress!

Managed to get through Unit29 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI today as well, but ran out of steam and mental capacity at unit30. Exhausted but exhilarated today.

Challenge for unit25 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI done. Good fun to get things put into practice. Onwards to more complex stuff?
