The Republicans have wanted to destroy Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid for years, now they have the power to do it. SO many people are at risk now, the sick, the elderly, gays, trans folk, pretty much anyone that is not straight, white, rich and male.

Unfortunately the Trump election causes many of us to hear echoes of darker times, including no abortion rights, no healthcare, and a slow creeping in of Jim Crow laws, subtle but still a threat.
