The Phoronix Forum makes even Reddit look like a calm and reasonable place for discussion. It's a total shit show.

GOG.com is a non-US alternative to Steam but you will not find every game there because of their anti-drm policy. Some games are getting added a year later if the publisher decides to stop paying for drm services like Denuvo.
Welcome to GOG.com | best PC games DRM-free
Download the best classic and new games on Windows, Mac & Linux. A vast selection of titles, DRM-free, with free goodies and 30-day money-back guarantee.

Interesting read. Used Playnite years ago on Windows, nice to see that it eventually will come to Linux now.

I'm sure the video will be very entertaining if not only because it will trigger the irrational hardcore anti-rust crowd to comment and start fights with Rust fans. Top tier Youtube brainrot.

Seriously Reddit is very harmless these days with the exception of a few special subs. But wouldn't surprise me if it will change thanks to Trump regime social media "Gleisschaltung".

Imagine if EA wouldn't have interfered in the plans for DA: Dread Wolf with their live service demand that made a some devs drop out of bioware. Maybe we would had different people in charge that made a great DA title instead of Veilguard... If only.

At least we have Larian and Owlcat Games.

There's a grain of truth in that statement. Linux is not Windows, some things work differently and more choices can be confusing.

Example: A new user doesn't really understand the difference if they install a Flatpak or if they install the version that is available in their distros repo.
