All this to say, I would love to have Maximillian Dood on my podcast Wammy Radio for an interview one day, an MVC retrospective of sorts. So happy for him and the MVC community right now. I am still in disbelief that it's finally happened. The dream lives on, and I hope it continues. [4/4]

I am so happy for the MVC community right now, not just the game having a collection, but to appear on Nintendo as one of the featured consoles. Capcom overall is having one blast of a redemption year with Street Fighter 6, Dino Crisis and Devil May Cry running the Capcom polls, to this. [3/4]

The first MVC proper X-Men vs. Street Fighter was released to Sega Saturn in 1997. Later games appeared on Dreamcast, Microsoft X-Box and Sony Playstation, but not Nintendo. I feared that MVC would never appear on Nintendo... until today, 27 years later. Quite a long time. [2/4]

I woke up this morning to a Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection announcement... and it came from a Nintendo Direct, of all things! This was a huge deal for me personally: it is the first time an MVC anything has ever been released on a Nintendo console. I thought I would never see the day. [1/4]

Marvel vs. Capcom has meant a lot to me over years, and to see it still have life thanks to the efforts of Maximilian Dood is astounding. Mods, graphics updates, new characters: the drive and passion he's put in has to be applauded. I would love to have him on my podcast one day for an interview.
