Can we play them a couple more times this season? How do we rework the schedule to make that happen?

Arsenal has scored 26 goals in their last 10 games... Doesn't look like that much of a problem.

That feels like a bit of a leap to me. An understandable leap to be sure given the state of other sports, but I don't think a guaranteed one. I'm not suggesting time outs, just stopping the clock until players get up or the ball is put back in play.

Sorry, I know it is so anathema to football culture, but with how much time wasting tactics causes problems and bad situations, I just keep coming back to, why don't they just stop the clock? Faking injuries would no longer help, no raging about inconsistent card giving, none of that would matter.

Probably true, especially for teams with big changes. And teams always ebb and flow through the long season. I'm confident the Rockets will turn it around, but it certainly is rough, ugly sledding at the moment.

Except they aren't losing to just good teams right now... LAC, Sac, NOP, Dal, Utah. Woof.

Sheppard doesn't seem to be the answer at PG this season at least. Isn't organizing the offense late, so KD is getting doubled at half court instead of receiving the ball on the wing or the elbow.

Hopefully Tari brings that energy back for us.
December 19, 2025 at 4:07 AM
That said, tonight was awful. How did it take so long to stop using Adams as a screener when KD was getting doubled at half court? And WTF did KD and Alpi keep trying to throw lazy one handed passes around Herb? JFC.

I will say, we did beat Denver last time out. The refs stole it, but we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that we legit were up 1 with 2 seconds left and Jokic missed the shot at the buzzer. Should have been a 1 point win.

...until the refs ruined it...
December 16, 2025 at 5:34 AM
Moron tripped over himself and got the bullshit call.
December 16, 2025 at 5:13 AM
It was a gross finish tonight, though. But I'll take the W regardless. Happy to see the Rockets closing out close games this season.

The only reason they didn't overturn the ridiculous Jabari foul call is because it would've been too embarrassing for them to review for a flagrant and then turn around and say it wasn't even a foul on the Rockets immediately after.
December 12, 2025 at 3:37 AM
How about if you stick your face that close to the ball while slapping at the ball then you get what you deserve when contact inevitably comes your way? Insane that you can just put your face in harm's way to cause that situation. Jabari didn't even extend or point his elbows out on that contract.
December 12, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Saka got the ball first, and I'm sure he was thinking about that penalty that was taken away from Victor against Newcastle.
December 6, 2025 at 2:05 PM
As someone who doesn't track these things closely, especially outside of Arsenal, what are the underlying numbers you're referring to here?
December 6, 2025 at 12:39 PM
Boosted confidence for him getting away with 2 obvious yellow early.
