Every time I bicycle up Joncaire St I try to imagine what that outfield grand stand would have been like where the woods and Mervis Hall are right now.

I'd imagine anything new would also use Joncaire and S Bouquet site boundaries.

What a delight to watch Paul Skenes pitch...🏴‍☠️ This futurist dynamic capture of motion and energy has been living in my head for awhile now. Love how this live-sketch rough-draft turned out. (👀 in other mediums, digital and other physical media 👀)

Thinking about the generic feel-good campaign catchphrases of 'repair our/build new bridges'.
But also worth noting that specifically, the bridge behind me did not exist the last time I bicycled this route up to Riverview Park.

Paul Skenes pitch sequence doodle done in-game. Pittsburgh (and Cleveland) showed up and packed the ballpark. Pretty great (tho irate) atmosphere. Unfortunate a large chunk of the team is batting .1xy, so it's an L for our best pitcher...

My whole bicycle ride home, the air smelt and tasted so lovely and good.

Happy antihistamine season to all who celebrate.

Went to the housing forum tonight, despite it being pretty much a one-sided ordeal.

I was fascinated to hear the different experiences and position takes from the various council members who spoke based on experience in their district.

O'Connor certainly speaks convincingly.

so disappointed...
Like it can't be that hard to buy a Kei Truck with a broom out front that also treats the bike lanes?!
Bike infra neglect is THE hardest part of winter commuting.

(Layers are easy, and -10°F felt fine this morning.)

It's always sad when that weird little funk band you follow makes it big and is forced into the American Ticketing Industrial Complex hell.
Such an obvious scam to artificially induce scarcity and inflate prices.
Here are a few photostories of the frustrations

Was much easier buying 🇪🇺🎸🎫 last night
