IMAX schedules are a mess, I missed One Battle After Another and Demon Slayer because they were showing Avatar reruns where I live, ffs. But seriously, just go anyway. It’s not only a great entry point to the series but also a fantastic movie on its own.

I saw it in IMAX. You don’t need to have watched the anime beforehand, it won’t be a problem at all.
