Theseus is a multi-instrument mission focusing on high-energy, short-lived events, looking in particular at gamma-ray bursts near & far.

The mission would cover a broad spectrum of science, from stellar astrophysics to the physics of matter accretion & particle acceleration processes.

If you have 2 clocks that run at the exact same rate when they are beside each other and then put one on top of the other, the one on top will run at a slightly faster rate than the one on bottom. Over time the one on top will get more and more ahead of the other one.

It is a social faux pas to walk out of a public restroom and sniff your fingers. But, it is ok to go up to strangers exiting a Walmart restroom and ask if you can sniff their fingers.

Actual headline from today-
"Lab monkeys on the loose in Mississippi don't have herpes, university says. But are they dangerous?"
.
Although, being in Mississippi, they should have added the word "yet" after "herpes".

I was shocked to find out that animal husbandry was only about breeding animals with EACH OTHER. What the hell? Being from Kentucky, I naturally assumed it meant something completely different. And why is it so hard to find sex swings that accommodate species other than homo sapiens???

Rich people that vote Republican should be put in a mental hospital because they are a danger to others. Regular people that vote Republican should be put in a mental hospital because they are a danger to themselves.
