By day a drone at a large public transport operation, by night an enthusiast of cars, buses, trucks, and trains. Racing fan and part time participant. Avid reader. Many hobbies, none I’m good at. Too old to keep joining new platforms.

We were invited to a Star Trek themed dinner party and I was asked to bring macaroni and cheese. I never tried this before, hopefully the logo looks ok after it bakes.

Jodi is probably looking down somewhat relieved I didn’t know getting a bus engraved on our headstone was an option.

It’s tough to narrow down my list of odd trucks and buses, but if I had to pick a favorite right now it would be the productmobiles of the Tour de France caravan. I would happily drive around in a melon or giant Orangina bottle if anyone knows where I can send my resume.

Tropical Storms Erin is still a few days away and the water has risen above these vital beachfront properties.

This has to be the most appropriate car to arrive at a Christopher Cross concert in.

I haven’t seen a Long John Silvers in 20 years. How are they selling enough fish sticks to go racing?

That generation Cutlass made a great looking racecar.

The ultimate sleeping car is a Pullman.

There are so many great choices, but I’m going with the Citroen CX delivery wagon. The idea of a 100 mph six wheeled wagon to deliver the morning paper seems like something only the French could decide was a good idea.

My dad had a 7up route, so when people weren’t buying this we ended up with a garage full. It was a long summer.

20 years ago Kurt Busch won the first Wienermobile race in Charlotte, probably the biggest win in his Hall of Fame career. This year they raced at Indy. Who do we have to start bugging so we don’t wait another 20 years to see the Wienermobiles at Monaco?

I’m tired of being a responsible adult. I want to call in sick and fly to Indy tomorrow morning.

I have reducked most of mine, I have five that I liked and kept. Yesterday we made a pilgrimage to the king of the ducks.

Today was my monthly mental health Saturday where I skip work and go racing. The drive down took to long, almost 4 hours, but the weather was perfect the entire night and coming home was a rare easy trip on the NJ Tpke with the windows down, radio up and very little traffic.

Being a responsible adult sucks. They’re racing 40 minutes from here and I didn’t go because I have to be up for work at 3am. Growing up was a terrible mistake.
