I can definitely see how having 1 in the drafting stage and 1 in the editing stage could work. for me those are distinct enough headspaces, but I don't know if i could do any more.

I think it's personally advisable to try to stick to one project a time. I spent a very long time keeping two active at once, and the result was that few got done. Obviously what works for you might be different, but i think we could both agree that 4 projects is a bit much.

I think it's very hard to accept this because how awesome would it be to keep yourself overstimulated moment to moment with 1000 little things but to also step away from that feeling like you've pushed yourself and expanded your horizons a bit?

I would never stoop so low. That said excessively consuming free samples and promising to buy the product before leaving costco is not something i'm above.
