His treatment of Ep 7 was universally well received by critics and fans alike. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and its IMDb rating of 8.0 is the highest of any SW movie outside of the OT. TFA may have played it a bit safe with the story, but it was the right move to restore faith in SW.

JJ has proved to be a gifted guide for large franchises with untapped potential (such as Mission: Impossible, Star Trek and Cloverfield).

Except it made sense for JJ to withhold the answers to everything he set up in TFA because it was literally the first movie of the trilogy. You’re not gonna get answers to everything right away.

I mean, you can blame it all on Last Jedi

I mean it’s Last Jedi’s fault

You don’t subvert people’s expectations like that by tossing everything that the previous movie set up out the window and tell them none of this matters, that’s not right. That’s not appropriate. Ohh, and Luke was done sooooo dirty, that even Mark Hamill didn’t like the story direction for Luke.

The reason why TROS turned out the way it did was all because of TLJ. Seriously, that movie tossed everything that was set up in TFA off a cliff and wrote TROS into a corner it couldn’t get out of – Rey’s parentage was no longer important, the Knights of Ren were binned and Snoke was sliced in half.

The first Fantastic Beasts was great. The other two were mid as hell.

The Acolyte had terrible writing, acting and directing and some of the episodes were just straight up stupid, and it broke canon by including Ki-Adi-Mundi in the fourth episode because the show is supposed to take place when he wasn’t born yet. Also Last Jedi is the worst Star Wars movie.

I heard the first season of the Halo show was terrible but I heard the second season was much better

They're also showing the extended cut of Spider-Man 2 in theaters this year, so I'm automatically there for that lmao

Previous stories surrounding Ki-Adi-Mundi confirmed he was born in 93 BBY, around 40 years after The Acolyte takes place.

You do realize that show broke canon by including Ki-Adi-Mundi in the fourth episode, right?

Per Star Wars Legends, Ki-Adi-Mundi was around 60 during the events of The Phantom Menace. Thus, he shouldn’t be born in The Acolyte, unless Disney is adjusting the lore.
