A Derbyshire heart.

Enjoying walks, diy, cooking and family in our homes in the UK and France.
I’ve just received my Sainsbury’s delivery which I tried in France but it just didn’t work as well as it does here. I never like the big grocery shop experience either here or in France. Perhaps it’s time for coffee and cake.

I’m not surprised after that journey. Have a great day back home.

It’s great to see Provence again. Enjoy your evening.

I like that route too. I hope all is good at the house.

You’ve done really well. Enjoy the chocolate orange.

Some nice green bits and traditional architecture.

Glad you found the right place to stay.

I agree it’s mad after all the other places you’ve been. You’re still smiling though. I’d definitely be feeling overwhelmed and probably anxious. Also, from here they all appear to be young!

Great photos.

As interesting as ever just in different ways. I would have definitely needed the on board facilities.

I’m sure you’re right. Hopefully, you’ll find some nice places to visit though. Many years ago we went to New York for a long weekend. After one day we hired a car to get out of the city!

I can’t believe it’s almost 6 weeks either. You’ve done a brilliant job of selling some quieter and, for me, more appealing parts of Japan.

I’m pleased it was a quieter ride in terms of traffic. Another interesting tale including more cats on patrol.

That looked to be a great walk and it’s so good to learn about all the things you see along the way. I’m also impressed by the hospitality and obvious friendliness.

Wonderful!

You’re doing really with the place name pronunciations. I wouldn’t want to see a bear. The views are stunning.

Definitely better than here where it’s still raining. We’ve had about 3 hours on no rain in the last six days.

Great. I still prefer a caravan you tow so you have more freedom to roam once you’ve pitched. However, if you only want to be in one spot overnight then the MH is ideal.

The sea is such a stunning colour and it seems the bike ride was interesting and not too challenging. It’s so good that you can decide ‘on the fly’ what to do next.

A beautiful coastline and interesting bike ride.

This is an incredible place. The weather isn’t much better here so it’s going to be a soggy walk today.

Thanks.

We’re off to France this evening, Portsmouth to Caen and then about 7 hours in the car tomorrow.

Stunning gorge and definitely a favourite for me too.

Very beautiful.
