Had a rough day at work so two things:
1. Sonic 3 not getting nominated is a robbery but we all know this.
2. The people who genuinely think that E33 shouldn't even be NOMINATED for GotY because it's turn-based are genuinely brain rotted by the instant gratification of the internet.

The downside of getting to enjoy my afternoon after work is having to get up incredibly early. But I'll happily take that over having work in the middle of the day so I feel like I can't do anything before it but too tired for anything after

I've been getting a lot of Chainsaw Man stuff recommended to me and the amount of people who lack basic media literacy in the comments really pisses me off. They always say shit like "It's not that deep." No, it's not - that's why it's BASIC media literacy. And it doesn't have to be to be poignant

Got my hair cut today and my headsl feels so much lighter. It's a gradual change so I don't notice it while it's growing, but it really is night and day once you cut it

Every time I go back to My Hero, I'm always surprised by the depth it has. Like I know it's there, but I completely forget about it in the years that go by between me watching it. Currently halfway through season 7. If only season 5 wasn't a stinker and I probably never would have lost interest

Playing ZA has made me super nostalgic for Arceus. I had a little bit of a crisis when I couldn't remember what my main team was, so I booted Arceus back up for the first time in years to check. Turns out I have not changed at all lmao

The more I write my book, the more I realize just how much more I still have to write. Fuck it's so much. Being 30% done is just a generous estimate based on word count.

Watched the Chainsaw Man movie today. Always liked the arc but was never its biggest fan, yk? The arcs that come after are SO good that it's not a fault of the Reze arc in particular. But holy shit, the movie was amazing. I expected it to be peak already, but it made me appreciate the arc way more

I like Injustice as a what-if storyline, but there's no doubt that it and Flashpoint are responsible for tanking WW's reputation. Absolute WW is so refreshing to read because she's such a good person. There are plenty of other great interpretations of WW, but this feels mainstream, which is nice.

Caught up on Absolute Batman. I really dig how two parallel stories play out at once - a story from Bruce's past that mirrors what he's going through in the present. At first I was afraid it would feel like Demon Slayer where all the backstory gets shoved into the end of the fight but not at all
