The city of DeLand has a parking minimum for ADUs which makes them more expensive or logistically impossible to build. There is no evidence ADUs cause neighborhood parking issues.

ADUs are a win-win for homeowners, renters, and cities. Reduced rents, passive income, higher property values, broadened tax base, and greater walkability.
