The GOP clings to a meme/fantasy that people get married and have babies and become more religious and conservative. It may have been semi-true generations ago, but is completely unmoored from current reality. No group is more Dem than parents of young kids.

Its one thing if it's a dollar or two, but people notice and get quite angry about their power bill going up 50%.

Don't oversell the Georgia election. A good outcome no doubt, but....
Power bills just went way up the last few months, the Dems campaign was "these R's did that". There's no way to sugarcoat the massive recent rate increases, these R's were toast, timing of the rate hike was hilariously bad.

Seems like he's prime candidate to pull a Fetterman or Sinema unveil that he's not in fact a Democrat until after the election.

The housing market bubble was incredibly obvious by circa 2006 and was regularly referred to as such.
When we were shopping for our first house we were fully aware that housing was in a bubble, but you also need a place to live.

Are there still known violent gang areas anywhere in any city or is that just the rural boogeyman meme from last century still clinging to life? We're now decades into cities being high desirability gentrification zones with low relative crime. Street gangs are so 1990.

Our gifted kids are being withheld from pull away gifted programs, which seem to mostly produce toxic kids that turn into washouts as adults and have very little impact on real long term educational success, despite the opportunities it opens.

Separating them gives them magnet school syndrome where they are convinced from early childhood that they are smarter than and better than everyone else, which seems to color their personality for life.
Magnet school syndrome is really obvious in adults; its commonly seen in engineers nowadays.
