Ive got my parents and brother linked to mine so they have access to all my movies, books, apps purchased through the app store/google tv. Super handy. Also has options to not share so if you buy something for yourself that isnt appropriate for your kids, just unshare it.

Google also has google family that lets you link up to 5 accounts. Gives parental controls if you are the gmail account creating the family group. It also allows for shared purchases, controlled purchases, screen time, etc. But that way you can get an app once(ex minecraft) and all will have it

enable safe browsing: in chrome there should be 3 dots in the upper right->settings->privacy and security->safe browsing. I think its on by default but there are tiers. Should keep them out of the worst of the trouble they can get into accidentally.

It's so fucking frustrating. All that to get a "promise" of a vote that is almost guaranteed not to pass. These fucking geriatric dipshits gave up every piece of leverage they had for absolutely nothing. Meanwhile the American people get fucked yet again

Necromancy is basically just very late healthcare.

Yep, our system is stupid. That cost is also only medical. Its another $220/month for dental and $75 for vision.

If people didnt suck at math they would quickly figure out it is significantly cheaper to have single payer healthcare. Alas.

It depends on your insurance plan, but yeah. I think mine is $250/visit with $2000 max out of pocket per year. But, I do pay close to $300/month for my employer provided health plan. Thats just for me. With partner and kids it gets exponentially more expensive.

Indiana went for Obama in 08 so it can happen, just takes the right candidate. But it was still very starkly urban/rural divided. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Un...

midwest in a nutshell. Indiana is currently hosting meetings to try to steal a fair chunk of Illinois on the theory that the Chicago controlled government doesnt represent these areas. It would be a terrible idea because these areas are net drains on state funding.

Having grown up in Ohio and now live in Indiana, the urban areas do tend to vote democrat. I would be interested to see if there is a sweet spot of population where the switch happens. Grew up in 300k pro union dem, school in 60k R, live/work in 1mil+ dem. Everything around is solid red though.

On one hand, I won't feel bad seeing this group take a huge loss. On the other hand, this will mean massive layoffs and studio closures when this all fails.

Indiana in late August/early September it's possible to run the ac during the day and heat at night. One of the many reasons this state is stupid and shouldn't exist.

It's not normally like this. It's usually hotter and the humidity is higher.
