The WA Kids Cancer Centre brings together exceptional researchers to develop more effective and less toxic therapies to treat childhood cancer.
The research aims to understand children's immune responses to immunotherapy, adjust immune cells to respond more effectively, and identify new drug targets. Dr Elaskalani and the team are the first to test immunotherapies in age-appropriate models for childhood cancers.
