In Tucson one of our most beloved festivities is Cinco de Mayo where the community comes out to a public park and has food, music, costumes and a celebration of the amazing Hispanic heritage in my city. The local news just reported today the festivities are canceled due to concerns over ICE raids!

Why can't some entity bring into a federal court a legal case questioning how a US President can unilaterally raise taxes on the entire US population without any thought or input from Congress? If someone doesn't try these tariffs are going to swallow our economy whole and put us in dark times!

Last week after I had a bout of the worst stomach virus in my life I ended up sitting hours and hours in an ER waiting for fluids before I just left the ER and went home and called an ambulance to take me directly to another hospital. Got my IV fluids in under 20 minutes and our country needs an IV

Today I spent a few hours working on my Hands Off Sign for the Tucson protest this Saturday. In 2010 my sign making abilities were on display with the Occupy Tucson Movement where I made 50 signs in 50 days and some of my signs are in the Arizona Historical Society from Occupy Tucson. I love signs!

My sister who lives in Clarkston, Michigan attended a Bernie Sanders event today in Warren and over 9,000 people were in attendance. Sister had to sit in the overflow room of the overflow room packed to the gills and she's on BlueSky so I told her to post her video of the crowds.
