What kind of daily goals do you set for pre-writing(outlining, world building, etc.)?

What kind of daily goals do you set for pre-writing(outlining, world building, etc.)?
Unless you start with plot, then that’s a whole new can of worms. But this helped me break through a wall recently, so hopefully it’s useful.

What aspect of character does the story come from? Beliefs. What is their world view? What do they believe in? That’s the goal. Figure that out and look for the elements you can introduce that challenge those beliefs, whether it’s world building or other characters. From that conflict comes plot.
