I love both genres so much, but only from afar, because they have so many decades of stuff you need to watch to properly appreciate it and I really haven't gotten the time to watch any of it.
Best I could do to approach them is fake tokusatsu like the Godzilla series, and I only watched about this:

I hadn't seen a wild gecko here in years.

Love how the Chupacabra here looks almost the same as the official Touhou Project design for it. It’s not even accurate to descriptions of the cryptid, just very fun to look at.

Haters won't believe it but while I was walking this dumb fucking hawk tuah dog I came across Parsee Mizuhashi from the eleventh game on the Touhou Project series also known as 東方地霊殿 ～ Subterranean Animism.
I was a bit embarassed so I wasn't able to take a proper picture. She was nice, though.

The three youkai regulars of Geidontei, almost protagonists of the Lotus Eaters manga, don't tend to drink all together.
Mamizou drinks oftenly with both, but it's very rare to see Aya and Suika drinking together, or seeing all three casually.
