The mustard-yellow track recording vehicle slowly passes through City Hospital station in Belfast, contrasting with the dull grey sky on a freezing day - in a break between rail, hail, and snow showers! The yellow TRV shunts from the fuel road in Adelaide Maintenance Depot, passing over a turnout connecting different tracks together. A six-carriage green, yellow and grey Irish Rail class 22000 Intercity Railcar passes on the Belfast to Dublin Mainline, whilst the TRV powers down in the sidings at Adelaide Depot.

There is a brick wall in the right of frame, with a grey, floating airbridge linking one set of island platforms with Belfast Lanyon Place's concourse building (which is just out of shot) and a grey, dull cloudy Belfast sky behind.
