He is not planning to fire the Fed chair. He is hoping to change the Fed’s policy. Good luck. He could consider whether he might change his own course on fiscal and tariff policy. That would draw much attention to himself, which he craves.
Trump: 'I have a Fed person who is not really doing a good job'
President Trump once again went after the Federal Reserve on Tuesday, saying 'I have a Fed person who is not really doing a good job' — an apparent reference to Fed chairman Jerome Powell.

The disruption of the US government by our current executive is resulting in more jobs in India for Indian workers. Adam Smith’s invisible hand of capitalism is independent, and has no particular loyalty to the current American president.

He didn’t just blink. His eyelids have been fluttering for decades. His most recent decision means he’s postponing revenge, or redirecting it.
Commentary: Trump's economic pain thresholds have emerged. In other words, he blinked.
Four metrics reveal how much economic damage it takes for President Trump to reel in his harmful trade wars.

Who else consolidated power in an alarming manner?
Saddam Hussein consolidated power in Iraq through a combination of Ba'ath party control, coercion, suppression of dissent, and a cult of personality, eventually becoming a dictator who ruled with an iron fist for nearly 30 years.

Remember who was able to silence (and worse) his numerous enemies and control a powerful energy producing nation?
Saddam Hussein.
Just read about how he controlled the Iraqi lawmakers and judges.

Inflation rose abruptly during Jimmy Carter’s presidency, mainly due to the Arab oil crisis. Trump is now set to have rising inflation and stagflation, mainly due to his own tariff obsession. The difference is that Trump counters with a run at a third term?

The wealthiest people imagine themselves as job creators. And yet all you hear about is layoffs and job cuts and eliminating positions. American people who step up to do hard work are at least 50% of job creation.

It’s all in plain sight. Trump pretends to negotiate with countries. But it’s Putin, binSalman, Qatar princes, Elon Musk, etc., not Russia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or the US. They are extra-wealthy, and have real estate upon which Trump can brand buildings with his name. The US is only his real estate.

Russia failed to occupy Afghanistan. The US failed to occupy Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Israel struggled in Gaza, and instead, is destroying Gaza. Putin cannot occupy Ukraine, and instead, he is destroying Ukraine. What chance does Trump have to occupy the US? Will he destroy the US instead?

Republicans beat their chests about total victory. When you propose peace for another country through surrender, what are you doing? Clearing the way for real estate deals for Trump with wealthy actors (Putin, bin-Salman) on other people’s territory: Ukraine, Gaza?

Trump imagines that America is his real estate portfolio and balance sheet, and we, his workforce.
Conducting a real estate deal about Ukraine in a sandbox, Trump is negotiating with the wealthiest entities on earth: Putin, bin-Salman, and Musk. Trump is negotiating on behalf of himself, not us.
