One key takeaway is the value of clear, purposeful communication. Whether in academic work or professional presentations, every word matters. This course taught me to focus on clarity, making my messages more engaging and effective. #UCWCOMM205

I recently came across a fascinating opinion piece on media innovation by @sci-belfast.bsky.social on Bluesky. It dives into how digital trends are reshaping storytelling, making it a must-read for anyone interested in the future of media. #UCWCOMM205

I like practicing in front of my friends (they’re a tough audience!). It helps me build confidence and get comfortable with my delivery. I also record myself to catch any areas for improvement. Excited for the final presentations! #UCWCOMM205 @wahibachair.com @elvafisher.bsky.social

1) Features are long, while news articles get straight to the point.

2) Features can be ever-green, while news tends to become irrelevant.

3) Features are more for entertainment or promotion, while news is more to inform.

Don't have any tips to add, but he gives some great tips when it comes to practicing our presentations.

The one that stood out the most to me was tip #3 to focus on 1 or 2 improvements at a time. Focusing on too many can cause us to poorly develop on each.
