Quetta Police have ‘illegally’ locked the main gate of Bolan Medical College (BMC), not allowing students to record their rally from BMC to Provincial Assembly. Police say they have orders from DC and DSP while not showing it to the students, saying they are “not bound to do so”.

The state should not treat students as pawns in a game of control. Hostels must be places of safety and learning, not oppression.
