Later Disney rereleased several of the previously Boom printed comics on Comixology with more standard translations, which while more true to the source material, they felt a little less fun. Those added in-jokes and personal bits give the English versions their own charm. (3/3)

I remember during the Boom era the translator's would often sneak in references to the Disney Afternoon shows (an agent from S.H.U.S.H. appearing in "Double Duck" and Eega mentioning building a model of St. Canard for example). (2/3)

Some of the "newer additions" could be a bit distracting (the Monty Phython reference, while funny, didn't match the tone of the scene), but I actually don't mind the majority of them. (1/3)
