If all goes swell and well, by Jan 15 I make the transition from Austinite to Portlander. House emptying out, selling/ giving away many items. For 23 yrs lived in same house. Lived in Austin 45 yrs. I never thought we'd leave. Wife's new job is perfect for her. She's a difference maker. Win-win.

Other day I was @Home Depot buying paint/ primer, and I saw ICE and DPS sitting in the parking lot, looking/ hunting for brown skin people. I have no truck against deporting violent criminals. But it seems majority of these people are hard workers trying to feed their families. God Bless them all.
