plus in the main campaign (and midnight isle dlc lol) all ur companions immediately ditch u as soon as u lock it in, so u REALLY wanna have a strong, solo-worthy build with lots of ac and buffs, which is why i went vivisectionist.

uhhh for the main campaign it just depends what kinda story u want, ig? i think lich to swarm is very thematically fitting for a power hungry intellectual type guy, but a fallen azata or aeon would be rlly cool too imo. as for mechanics, it doesnt really get powerful until mr9 which is REALLY late
