An Australian Shelduck looks out to sea from the western end of Wadjemup Island in Western Australia. It is a large waterfowl with dark head and body and a chestnut coloured neck. Very different colouration from the ones I see in the UK.

I discovered yesterday that I really like taking photos of trees at sunset.
A variety of skinny Australian eucalyptus trees are blurily silhouetted against the last pinky red streak of sunset, on a ridge in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales.

Here in the UK our free speech protections suck, but we are REALLY good at kettles. I understand your electrical socket logistical issues but be bold! Go electric! (I have 2 outlets in my kitchen.)
A kettle and a toaster and a USB charging adaptor are plugged into a UK electrical socket in a way that suggests an inadequate number of electrical sockets.
