Upon examination, I found that my fear of death was, in fact, a fear of not reaching my full potential. My fear of dying generated a deep appreciation for the fundamental elements of human existence. It wasn't until age 58 that I acknowledged my opportunity to live a complete life.

Until someone is prepared to articulate the systemic problem, we will simply continue to experience cycles of identifying corruption, identifying a scapegoat, eliminating the scapegoat, and relaxing until we discover the next scandal.
