What Democrats need is a new Senate Leader and a revised stance on representation for and of the people who elected them, Schumer is not fit to do that at this time. He must step down so the party itself can actually move on the initiative of serving the people, not a faction of a party.

10 Senate Democrats voted for the CR Bill which will go after Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. The coined excuse was “we were looking at what would be a worse scenario for the American people,” to which 85% of voting Democrats polled against the bill. Schumer voted for it anyway.
