If Slate Auto pulls this off I’m in. I hate that some of the money goes to Jeff Bozos so he can send pop stars to space, but roll down windows, no infotainment, and up to 240 miles of range on the large battery has me sold. All I’ve wanted for ages is a small barebones electric truck and this is it.

I spent the afternoon playing with 70 year old wiring with no active ground, 3 way light switches, janky hardware, and a handful of other minor electrical issues. This should have been a thirty minute job, ended up being more like an hour and a half. Worth it. Louis Poulsen for the lighting win.

About 1000 years ago I did a little illustration featuring a quote from Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot" speech as part of a series on the changing of the seasons. Since today is the first day of spring, I thought I'd share wise words form a very wise man.
