His meterless combos are just as sad, they are very fun to do and the corner carry is pretty nice, but the last hit of 46A/C is really inconsistent
For a character this cool it's genuinely sad he can't do much

His other super is neat, theoretically it can be used for cool whiff punishes, but you have to spend a bar, the special move is hella techable and you only collect 100ish on the combo
Not to mention you can't juggle this either so it has to be a grounded connect

Unfortunately he's a pretty tragic case
For starters, using meter is a pain for him. This is his MAX DAMAGE COMBO, this super doesn't juggle correctly so it just drops, but there's more

He has a lot of options to collect the hard knockdown, 214A/214C, 2C, 236AC, and 2jC (a DIVE KICK ON A GRAPPLER) (it's unfortunately pretty similar to Alex Dive Bomb tho)
His jC does wall bounce leading to air-to-air's like this or you can anti air with 2D

The grappler archetype in Slap Happy Rhythm Busters is mostly absent, and if it wasn't for Jakoo, Sledge would be the best grappler in the game (he's still fairly low tier)
For a combo game like SHRB, Sledge can only really do 5A>2A>5B>2B>22C into tech chase but his game on knockdown 🤌🤌

On top of his high damage, Rude Boy is 1 of 3 characters to have an infinite, even though his is the hardest to do. But his damage matched with his speed, short size, grounded high low mix, and an infinite are just some of the things that put him in contention for the best in the game.
