In just over one year, Nasha’s farm has expanded though the time it takes to finish her morning chores has sadly expanded as well 😓.

Working the Outpost also gave way to new friends like Matty Coles, a rancher who also took the SimCity grant. While he is paranoid about what their efforts would amount to, Nasha saw a very dependable sim willing to help.

Update on Nasha: Her store, the Outpost, drew the attention of sims like Agatha Crumplebottom who offered to trade a grocer stall in exchange for Nasha’s spring harvest.

Nasha's first harvest was a success, but a severely low need to socialize couldn't be fix by nectar and talking to plants.

Using the remaining of half of her funds, Nasha opened the Outpost (a grocery store), which managed to grab the attention of some potentially new friends.

Started a new save in the Sims. This is Nasha New (20 yrs old - foodie, family-oriented, and snob).

Sim City paid Nasha a 20K to live on a long abandoned farm out in the middle of nowhere.

*rolls up sleeves* I’m as passionate about my spreadsheets as I am about my sims. I love create new rules to help flesh out my save’s gameplay and my spreadsheet reflect that.

Captain's Log (Day 11-13): I pushed thru my art block & reached the texture stage for my character's model. I used Vagrant Story's textures as a ref pt while unwrapping, which has led to a square-like style of uv map.

Captain's Log (Day 10): More floor plans completed - Into the third core of the animation though I had to backtrack into core 2 as I felt the placement of some Core 3 shots should've happen earlier.

Funny you asked - Two days ago, I shared this screenshot from my game doc on the Daily Plumbob discord, which lists four wants I feel have been missing and/or scattered across the sims franchise and that I wanted to include in my own fantasy-focused life sim game.

What I am most proud of Sims-wise is my personal spreadsheet, which tracks everything from households to unsolved crimes and company infrastructure.

The OG and V.2 spreadsheets are available for download on sim file share and currently working on an improved V.3.

Captain's Log (Days 7-9): Third time is the charm (at least I hope it is). I remade the 3D model for my animation's protagonist. She is standing at 365 polygons so it still isn't ideal, but gonna step back and take it as it is for now.

In the picture, she's the one in the middle.

Captain's Log (Day 5-6): A cold kept me away from my project, but I'm back on it now - Most focus as of late is the 2D opening sequence. I also took another crack at modeling today and much happier with the current look of it. Still aiming for less than 300 poly hwr

Going to scale back the weekend project into phases as modeling is taking must longer than expected.

Studying Vagrant Story for this project has shown me just how talented the game's team was.

Claire Seckler's short films (and by proxy CalArt's one week film project) inspired me to try making my own animated short film tho my workload will be spread across three-four weekends due to work constraints.
