I appreciate ARRL. They do a lot behind the scenes lobbying in congress. I feel QST magazine is worth the dues alone.

Are they perfect? No.

And if you don’t like it don’t join. No one is forcing anyone to join.

I do Winlink using VARA FM, VARA HF & Packet almost daily. But I have no idea what WOAD is

people use Vara to connect to Winlink. You compose your email in win link but send it through various ways, including VARA

Here in America Winlink is extremely popular. It’s used often in natural disasters and sometimes is the one of the only ways to communicate. Personally I love it.

I just don’t understand why RSGB would be negative on it. AARL here supports it. A net in Florida gets 100s weekly checking in
