as i've said multiple times, they really Shoulda rolled League into the Challenges, rather then Anarchy, have challenges be league, but with the occasional whacky rotation every few days thrown in

not having weaknesses means its stats are balanced, not that its strong, just that its numbers are equal (and these numbers happen to be at rock bottom)

if not for the accessibility problem Screen has, Screen is pretty much perfect for Tri-slosher, the screen deals 40 damage, and with Tri, you dont need to aim the giant 62 damage hit box to kill anyone who passes through the screen, and you have Splat bomb to poke, both normally and through screen

.... and they did it anyways, we did indeed get a Hydra with Big Bubbler
(and sprinkler)

keep in mind that the only 2 (2.5) weapons able to effectively use Bubbler Offensively, Currently, are Decavitator and Roller (and Zimi to a lesser extent)

hydra would be on the other end of that spectrum: as a defensive behemoth with little offensive utility

so at most i see it as a force multiplier, if you are able to capture the objective you have an easier time holding it but you would also be miserable if you lost it or didnt manage to get it since you would functionally be a Special Down

i dont think it would, since you have no real way to use it offensively as a hydra, sure you can be a wall for a bit, and take some positions that would be vulnerable otherwise, but i dont think it would be any real use on offense (except on tower)
And Big bubbler has enough counters

its more likely then you think, since it would Reference the Sploon 1 Custom Hydra, with Sprinkler and Bubbler (and Chara's trailer analysis gave us high odds of it having Sprinkler)

Personally hoping Hydra gets Big Bubbler, but beyond that not really looking forward to anything

(and that Sheldon's picks will also return next year to complete the 3rd Kits)

nah she was just pretty overleveled from repeatedly doing the pit of 100 trials and stopping when she got a reward or 2 for clearing newer floors

either stingray, bubble blower, or Booyah bomb using this system. the "kits" in this case are the devs making one more sub and special available to that weapon

i think the best way to handle this is to make every "kit" a selection of available subs and specials you can run alongside it, limiting the costumisability of a weapon to however many "kits" there are, so to take the splatoon 2 heavy as a example, you can run wall, sprinkler or sensor along... 1/2
