My mother introduced me to Nikki Giovanni as a child. She knew I was passionate about writing and had a creative spirit. She wanted me to see women of color in this field I never read her work in school but I knew she was powerful in many facets. Rest in peace.

Feedback is such a valuable tool for growth. Once individuals realize how much constructive feedback leads to growth academically, personally and professionally, they will long to be in settings that offer thoughtful feedback! This has absolutely been my experience.
