Was talking with @anomyna.bsky.social about when/why Vyrn might chase someone. I think he enjoys the chase a lot, thus why he might hunt someone down in the woods ect...
But then the idea of "What if he had a REALLY strong desire to chase people who run" came up and..

Making progress rigging @anomyna.bsky.social 's Flambee model! Also my first time rigging a model like this. She is approaching functionality, still need to do lots of tweaking, plus give her a mouth!

Hmmmm... Barring the *obvious* answer... probably not his mane, actually! While it does glow, the side plates are how he dumps excess heat. So realistically, he's warmest near the plates on either side of his tum! Though his whole belly would be much warmer than the rest if you put your hand on it🧡

OH! and I actually did try including the gradient on the rest of his fur on my very first attempt at making a model for him, retexturing a novabeast. I ended up really not liking it.
I think a strong point of his design is he has several VERY flashy elements, but most of his body is fairly plain.

Completely sure about the *mane* having the warm gradient. But... now that it *does*, I can't imagine it any other way.
Additionally! His color pallete/concept were very much inspired by a propane forge I had forever ago. I wanted to include hot steel color gradients. (Though he's not as hot!)
