Honestly, it will get longer if I start to talk abt story arc specific OCs. And also, I said 3 main OCs, but if I begin to explain Luca, it will be another 5 posts.

Cyra's Aurea Magia has the ability to analyse. Throughout the story, Ruby will ask her to map out the entire route of the treacherous dungeons. Similarly, Cyra can sense wherever she goes with the cost of being constantly tired cuz using Magia drains your stamina, just like if you run too much.

But if you are talking abt the concept of light completely disappeared, then most creatures will be blind and will have to rely on other senses to navigate cuz your eyes need lights to reflect the image into your brain. Ruby will be powerless here but Cyra can just use her Magia to sense stuff.

Ruby herself is an engineer. She will likely just whipped out a lamp that has that Viola crystal lol. With this logic, the city techincally wont light out as well. Cuz every source of energy, including light comes from Viola Magia. The sun dying wont be a big issue lol.

I will only talk abt the 3 main OC of the story. But none of them actually have the Magia that can generate energy like this. However, Magia can manifest physically in forms of crystals and can be harvested. Viola crystal is commonly used to power most things in the city cuz this.

Does magic light count as light? light is an energy as in sunlight. Energy can be transformed. So if light energy physically runs out, you can transform one type of energy to another. In my OC's world, you can create energy out of nowhere (impossible irl). you can technically create light this way

As for how she deals with it, Ruby values her achievement and contribution to the Emperia. So she always try to use her knowledge as the ground to prove her presence.

Ruby is born in a noble family, she has education, together with the fact that shes a genius, she has invented many useful gadgets to aid the exploration of the world's dungeons. But people dont see all of that, they only see her name & they got scared, it doesnt help that shes also fairly tall.

Before they meet each other, Cyra spend her New Year with her grandfather while Ruby is alone in her lab. Ruby will watch fireworks while she work on her stuff, then go back to it immediately after.

Ppl actively avoid her without knowing her cuz this. But at the same time, Ruby also doesnt realised herself that many of her behaviour is the result of being raised rich. Shes obvilious to those who r unlike her circumstances. So all of that combined leads to assumption.

It's ironic cuz Ruby cares a lot about her appearance but she dont want ppl to judge her by it. But due to being raised in nobility, she doesnt realised that her own expression is also a representation of how was she raised and she's judge for that.
