I've been reading the comics page of the local newspaper lately. Most of the strips are both "safe" and aggressively unfunny, but then every once in a while you get a real banger.

Update: He fucking circled the "U.S. POSTAGE PAID" square (partially obscured by the giant "counterfeit" label) as proof he paid the postage.

I'm trying to get a case open with Etsy. I don't expect much but we will see.

The person who did this clearly does understand that the point of the painting is to never be finished.

It's also worth noting that the result looks fucking terrible. No reasonable person would think "Ahhh, yes, this is what Keith Haring's vision was."

Something that particularly disturbs me about large companies using AI-generated imagery is that it's used so much for stuff that would have been so easy to just get a stock image or photograph for.

This looks like garbage, too.
An ad got Sun-Maid raisins. The background has an image of grapes growing on a vine. The grapes are amorphous and appear to grow together, and are probably AI-generated.
