the more older arena-style fps I play, the more i realize sprint, ads, & fall damage were the worst mechanics ever popularized for fps
arbitrary slowdowns & pointless "realism" in games, especially shooters, sucks unless the game was specifically made with slower or more realistic gameplay in mind
