Jethead is such a mascot platformer name, would be interesting to see if you follow the naming convention with other robots and such too or they're like an exception, a problem for later though :p

Smoother transitions almost always help, finding the sweet spot between making it snappy enough that the player doesn't lose their position and smooth enough that it doesn't cause problems is such a hassle though x3

Only thing I can think of is having fixed limits on the rotation so it doesn't go spinning out like the footage seems to imply it can do or some kind of incremental reset to an original position, kind of like leaves reacting to water droplets, you know?
