What a loser idiot
April 17, 2025 at 3:24 AM
@durbin.senate.gov just bow out early and let the next generation lead if this is your standard. Let there be a robust field of candidates who have ample time to put their platforms forward over time.
April 16, 2025 at 6:30 AM
Instead of posting this feel good slop can we post something that matters? We're on the same side.

Maybe present ideas... Dems lost because we had no cohesive vision.
April 11, 2025 at 11:29 AM
If you do not analyze why something went negatively and come up with no solutions to that then you're doomed to repeat yourself. To understand why and learn ≠ conceding to them. But pretending like Kamala was this fantastic candidate that people wanted is silly.
April 5, 2025 at 12:20 PM
Will I forgive them for doing so? Absolutely not. But you can at least acknowledge why they did. They thought, hey he's gonna fix the economy and ok yea it will probably be more of the same as first term. They failed to take our words seriously. But our policy sucked ass so we lost.
April 5, 2025 at 12:08 PM
You can say that as many times as u want and it's still not gonna fix the fact that she said she was gonna keep most of Biden policies that he had already. Inflation killed them. Americans voted with their pocket book. I'm not advocating for Donald Trump. I'm explaining why he won.
April 5, 2025 at 12:08 PM
Dawg I voted for her. It's not about charisma, it's about policies. She had weak policy proposals at best. Progressives have been screaming for almost 10 years now that moving to the center won't work. Bernie is drawing 34k people at his rallies because peeps finally awakening to progressive policy.
April 5, 2025 at 11:28 AM
Her policy proposals were dogshit and she was part of a toxic admin to voters. Ofc she was a better choice but she moved so far to the right to appeal to cons that she fucked herself out of the win. She had a bland at best set of policy proposals.

Fusion would be amazing but we're not there yet. The I'm scared straw man argument doesn't work anymore. Look what happened to Germany when Russian gas got cut off. They had closed nuclear plants and got absolutely screwed. Even Japan is bringing back reactors.
April 4, 2025 at 1:08 PM
They are some of the most protected places on the planet, you can't just walk up to a nuclear reactor and blow it up. So your only option is to air strike it. Something that can't happen here. We have about 90k tons of it currently, that's not really that much. You can stick that shit underground.
April 4, 2025 at 1:08 PM
France has successfully had stable base load nuclear power for decades without incident or anyone trying to blow it up. Yea natural gas is better than coal but it still has way too high of a carbon output. Nuclear waste is an easy solvable problem, dump it way deep underground where nobody touches.
April 4, 2025 at 12:59 PM
Are you going to say why u disagree?
April 4, 2025 at 12:48 PM
Nuclear is the best large base load source of energy. Solar and hydro and geo and wind all compliment it.

The market is responsive to the news. China dropped reciprocal 34% tariffs with 0 exceptions.

Don't look now but it's down another 1475 in futures markets c:
April 4, 2025 at 11:40 AM
Dawg this isn't helpful in any way shape or form. "Hurr durr um well they're dumb" is what we did in '16 and '24. Obama was a disaster, Biden was a disaster, Hillary was a disaster, Kamala was a disaster. Do something constructive instead of shit posting your way through this.
April 4, 2025 at 5:53 AM
We need to do things that make people's lives easier. And it needs to be done by the government. Not by private corporations whose only goals are to increase margins.
April 4, 2025 at 3:50 AM
We need real, deep, and radical changes within the democratic party. Investments in public housing and transit. We're over-regulated in certain aspects that prevent progress on our own policies. We need socialized medicine. We need to push for cheap nuclear energy.
April 4, 2025 at 3:50 AM
Her policies were dogshit and didn't present any real change and that's why we lost. Democrats are deeply upset because we see admin after admin of no real change, in fact we get closer and closer to conservative values in order to try and appeal to 'moderates'. It's not working.
April 4, 2025 at 3:50 AM
If ur gonna make/share shitty ai slop at least make it about something that matters like fixing public housing. Or fixing zoning regulations, or something, ANYTHING actually productive for society.
April 4, 2025 at 2:18 AM
Spending idea time on this horse shit instead of spending their limited time on idk making housing affordable. This is why Democrats hate Democrats right now. "Let's just add another tax...but let's make it AI :)"
