The man was a horrible person, but I much preferred seeing him defeated intellectually, as he so often was or ignored, which was even better. For someone like Kirk letting them continue to talk without anyone caring would have been better… the attention to him now is far worse for all.

Your kid is right! I’m sorry they are starting to experience the divergence between fantasy and reality. The divergence with reality and Star Trek is the hardest for me.

The tendency of some to equate wealth with intelligence, virtue, and morality and poverty with stupidity, vice, and immorality is one of the greatest problems of society. Especially when wealth is often associated with stupidity, vice, and immorality.
