Autistic Furry from probably the most isolated part of the world pretending to be an adventurous (and perverted) anthro dog with Toa powers (from Lego Bionicle) kicking butt and chewing bubble gum.
I wanted Bluesky to solely for fun purposes, and twitter for more political reasons but I've done the thinking and I decided that maybe I'll do what's best to get stuff out of my chest, not be spineless about it, and say what I must.

Modern Christianity, regressive and destructive without even pretending to care about decency. Just as I see the right wing as a cult of immature punks that take pleasure in bullying and gaslighting, I see modern christianity as proof that history has not shown us the worst it can do yet.

How useless must a religion be if it's this ineffective at humbling people? Some people may be humble, but the promise was that everyone is humbled by faith. But what really happened is a very obvious fascist takeover of an aleady questionable system built on capitalism and white ego.

It didn't really matter back then. And it certainly does not matter now. Many christians look at the slaughter of Palestinians and do not even flinch at the idea of children's hospitals being blown up with the kids inside. No, they root for these because it's "radical islam" somewhere.

So does it really matter how innocent or not the subjugated were? All the nations of America before europeas set foot and conquered the continent, and they were all subjugated, and who knows, it might've been that more nations were like the Tainos out there. All were subjugated with bibles in hand.

... They shared everything, helped one another, they lived in peace, knowing so little of arms, they tried to grab swords on the sharp end, cutting themselves out of ignorance. They were peaceful and loving, welcoming the european colonisers unconditionally! And they were subjugated for it?

Columbus still justified what came next. They were enslaved, forced to look for gold, fatally crippled for failure, brutally shipped back home for showcase, suffered diseases alien to them, and were (borderline) wiped out. They were said to follow the teachings of christ (without knowing them)...

Remember the Taino tribe? The Tainos were two things. The closest people to achieve the final goal of communism, and the most christlike people without ever hearing of Christ or anything bible-related or christianity as a whole. The latter was from the letters of Columbus himself.

All of this was done not only with guns and warships, but also with bibles in hands. All while ignoring the best messages and highlighting many of the most bigoted, blood thirsty one, without thinking about the implications of their own actions and the contents of the book itself. It was too NORMAL!

And let's not forget that colonialism gave slave trade another golden era, this time dominated by white, christian europeans, whom took advantage of the defenseless populations of their colonized lands. America knows very well the taste of being slave owners and some still advocate to bring it back.

How about colonialism, when faraway lands became colonies for European kingdoms to rule over, forming global empires that exploited many people for the crime of being "different", only to later have it justified with more nasty stereotypes, nasty caricatures, and victimblaming/slander!
